Uniforms: All new players to the program will receive a uniform (Reversible Jersey / Shorts) as part of their registration fee! Please note that uniforms previously received (Spring 2020) which need to be sized up or down must be purchased directly from our online vendor.
All players are required to wear a numbered uniform for games. Each player will be responsible for assuring a uniform has been ordered/received from Blatantteamstore.com. Ordering details will be made available in the next week or two. Jerseys are custom made for each player and therefore returns will not be accepted, making it important to order with the assigned number.
When registering, please enter your son/daughter’s top 3 number choices from those available within their designated range (see link). Numbers will be assigned on a first come/first serve basis and choices are not guaranteed. Number ranges are assigned by grade. Do not order any uniform or merchandise until you have received confirmation of your number assignment from the Equipment and Apparel Director. Number assignments will be confirmed on a rolling basis and posted on the NABRL site.
If your Grade 5-8 player is interested in playing lacrosse at a more competitive level, you can also take this opportunity to sign up your player for Select Team tryouts which will be in January at Forekicks Taunton on 1/17 and 1/31. There is no cost beyond NABRL membership to try out for the Select teams. You MUST register for our Classic program in order to tryout for our Select team.
Once you get to the payment screen, for Select Registration, you may exit if you are rolling over a credit from last year. You can then go back into your account to see your associated registrations.
Additional Fees will be required if your child is selected for the select team.
Volunteers: Additionally, you have the option to save $50 off your registration fee by joining our booster crew. This volunteer program is how we get all the things done that make our season run smoothly. We need your help, so we prefer that you sign up rather than pay the extra amount!
Within the next few weeks, you will receive an email with details about the Spring Season and our Bonus Winter Skills and Drills sessions that start in February at Forekicks in Taunton.
With the current COVID-19 situation North Attleboro Parks and Rec has asked all youth groups that use the town’s facilities to pause operations through at least March 31st, to slow the spread of the virus. (see below)
Given this request, Skills and Drills sessions will be canceled through 3/31. We will continue to prepare for a season start as soon as possible after that date. However, as the situation continues to evolve, we may need to consider other options. We will keep you all apprised of any developments.
In the meantime, we certainly encourage you to help your children find ways to use up some of their extra energy to work on their skills independently and safely. Nearly any wall and any ball can be used to develop their stick skills. Maybe even find your old baseball or softball glove and have a catch with child who is using a lax stick.
Hoping to see you all back on the field soon,
Dear Town of North Attleboro Youth Program Participants and Members of our Community,
With an abundance of caution for our children and public safety, The Town of North Attleboro will be closing all fields and gyms for youth group activities for spring games and practices until March 31, 2020 at the earliest. This includes but not limited to: Little North Attleboro League, RedHawks Baseball, NA Big Red LAX, NA Travel Softball Association, Adult Softball League and the North Soccer Club. This is a result of the current COVID-19 situation. We also ask that if you have a team that plays out of town that you reframe from playing at this time to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
During this two plus weeks, the Park & Recreation Department in conjunction with the North Attleboro Town Manager and Healthy Department will be evaluate daily and communicate any changes to the time line for programs to resume use of fields and gyms.
